The Foundation of CodeBilt

In 2010, CodeBilt was established based on a series of designs that focused on “everyday” elements, re-imagined from a unique perspective. The goal was to create designs that reflect a mantra of “Thoughtful, Efficient, Design”. To create engaging products that leverage automation for efficient production.
The Mechanized Drafting Table would become the “standard bearer” for what CodeBilt would symbolize as an industrial design brand.

From an “idea” to a “thing”.

We know how difficult it can be to go from an idea of what the world needs to a physical product in an elegant way. CodeBilt designers can offer some assistance in the form of guidance regarding universal “Standards of Design” and industry knowledge of “Design for Manufacturing” principles.
Bring us a sketch, a description, or just an idea, we can work with you to craft a solution that will reflect your input.

3 Dimensional Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)

Once you have defined the general dimensions, aesthetics and finishes from the concept design phase, the next step is to construct a virtual model using CAD software. A model can now be created that takes into account materials and finishes as well as physical design constraints like the dimensions of components that will be integrated into the completed design.

Simulation

Where applicable, an accurate 3D model can be used to simulate a wide range of real world circumstances in order to evaluate how the design will be affected. From static loads to event simulations and thermal analysis, these inspection tools can provide useful information for design iteration while still working in a virtual environment.

Photo-Realistic Rendering

Due to advancements in computer graphics, models created using CAD software can be visualized with the effect of simulated lighting, materials, and finishes to achieve incredibly realistic representations of the finished product. As with other simulation examples, this allows you to explore many variants to your design quite easily and in a very cost effective way.
