Mechanized Drafting Table

I have always felt energized by products that both facilitate and empower people to be creative.
This drafting table is presented as an example of the beauty of mechanical design and simple machinery.

Toolbox

For many of us, the tools of our artistic trade are cherished items. This toolbox was designed as a shrine to the artifacts of my own craft as a carpenter while employing the devices of joinery, proportion, and structural integrity that informed my work.

AeroTestra

ATMK09

Designed for AeroTestra UAS , the Mk09 unmanned aircraft represents a departure from conventional multirotor UAV design.
Employing a “thin shell” exo-structure, this vehicle outperforms the common “skeletal” form factor typically seen.

Sprocket
Following a similar theme to the toolbox and drafting table, recreating the bicycle was an exciting project to imagine. While far less efficient than conventional alloy or composite frames, high grade, Baltic birch marine ply provided material integrity that, if properly engineered, could satisfy the demanding functional requirements a bicycle frame must meet under normal conditions.

Mid-century Modern pet stairs

I share my bed with my animals and would have it no other way, so when I was presented the opportunity to develop a few designs for some pet stairs I was working from a place of love.
Several design themes were explored, including Japanese tansu and Victorian era carved furniture. A mid-century modern aesthetic provided clean lines and simplified manufacturing.

Sprinter Tiny Homes
I have always loved… the idea of being able to live completely “off the grid”, and for that home to be mobile. Being a climber, i have noticed the adoption of the “Sprinter” vehicle type as the ideal “camper” or “tiny home” foundation.
I started with the 144” wheel base and tall roof to develop the concept. This allowed me to create a space that felt less cramped.
